《侧耳倾听》的脚本、人物设定、分镜画是由宫崎骏担任，担任监督一职的，是著名动画家近藤喜文，他是Studio Ghibli的核心人物之一，多部Ghibli的动画电影也有他的一份功劳，遗憾的是近藤先生在1998年的1月病逝……
