《捕夢網》又名《劫夢驚魂》，簡單的說是幼年時救數襲過一個外星人的四人組，在野外一次聚會時阻止了一起外星入侵事件，孫皮期間得到了當年那個外星人的幫助，最終化險為夷。影片改編自美國著名小說家史蒂芬金的小說，故事非常有創意，薯凱兄很好看。

故事發生在一個叫德里的偏僻小城，四個一起長大的男孩子決定憑借自己的力量去完成一件非同尋常的正義任務，他們團結一致，並肩作戰，終於很勇敢地做成了這件甚至可以稱之為偉大的事情，事後，他們都得到了一種神奇的力量作為對他們的報償。
25年後，當年的4個孩子早已長大成人，各奔東西，為自己的生活和未來而努力打拚，但是每年一到了狩獵季節，他們仍要相約重聚在緬因州的森林裡，重溫兒時的快樂記憶。
這一年，聚會的一切都很正常，直到一場暴風雪毫無預兆地肆虐而至，把他們困在森林中，而夜晚，一個陌生人看起來狼狽不堪、跌跌撞撞地闖進了他們的宿營帳篷，此人神智不清，兩顆門牙不見了，樣子詭異，神態驚惶，他彷彿從很遠的地方跋涉而來，記憶混亂，語無倫次，不停地嘟囔著什麼天空中的光。
