两个警探回到警局后，凶手John来自首了。他说他还藏了两个人的尸体，但是只能带Miils和William去，否则他会以精神疾病脱罪，于是俩警探答应了。

他们开车去了荒原，后来有个人送快递过来，William拆开看到里面的东西后很惊讶，让Mills放下枪，这时候John说自己就是嫉妒Envy，急怒之下Mills（John认为Mills是暴怒Wrath）知道了自己的妻子被他杀了，于是开枪打死了John。
