It’s an old film which showed us a romantic love story. After watching it, I have some feelings to share.

But before I get ahead of myself I have to admit I never watched even a single episode growing up. I had just hit high school and I wasnt interested. So there wasnt any real baggage involved either side of the coin.

Yet there I sat in the first public screening anywhere on the planet (June 12th in Sydney, Australia, with Michael Bay introcing it) and it just overwhelmed me and everyone else! There was never a ll moment, the script flowed easily, the acting was first-rate and the seamlessneof the CGI and live action was taken to another level.

Its going to be the hit of the summer and was better than any of the big third installment trilogies I have just also seen. And I love each of those franchises.

So here we are again, back down the rabbit hole with the ever-resourceful Alice courtesy of another movie studio. Ever wonder why they bother? Perhaps it's the fact that up until the last 50 years there was a dearth of decent young female protagonists in literature, but one thing's for sure, there's no sign of filmmakers getting tired of reinterpreting her picaresque adventures in Wonderland.

This time up, Tim Burton is at the tiller, so you might expect a gothic twist in the tale. What you are unlikely to predict is the sheer mediocrity of this enterprise; there is more that is wandering than wonderful here. In an attempt to give Alice a touch of the Noughties - and presumably to attract that all-important teenage demographic - she is now 19 years old. Plagued her whole life by nightmares of falling, which no doubt account for the fact that actress Mia Wasikowska looks like a sallow, underfed version of Gwyneth Paltrow, she is about to be railroaded into marriage. Dashing off from the imminent proposal, she trips on a tree that appears to be a refugee from Sleepy Hollow and tumbles down the rabbit hole. After the traditional shenanigans with glass-topped table, key, 'drink me' juice and 'eat me' cake she manages to unlock and pass through a small door, but those who have brought her here fear they have "the wrong Alice".

They must have the right one, you see, because it has been declared that she will become the White Queen's champion, slay the fearsome Jabberwock and thereby vanquish the evil Red Queen. Somehow the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) becomes muddled up in all this, along with Tweedlem and Tweedledee (Matt Lucas doing the vocal honours), The Cheshire Cat (Stephen Fry, who else?), the White Rabbit (who is so twitchy and red-eyed he looks like he's an hour late for his fix) and the Dormouse (Barbara Windsor on feisty form).

This sort of quest story - both external and internal - should be as easy as falling off a log for Disney, but Alice's travels are so randomly strung together that all tension is lost. It's as though the script meeting was held at the Mad Hatter's tea party, with all the ideas put in teacups and thrown against the wall - all of them seem to have stuck but in no particular order. The actors don't help either. Anne Hathaway is attempting to be the second coming of Glinda The Good Witch, Crispin Glover plays the creepy character he always plays, only this time hampered by dicey CGI, and Johnny Depp uses the role of the Mad Hatter to practice both his posh English and Glaswegian accents, switching between the two for no discernible reason and with no obvious effect on the laughter quotient.

Burton has always been known for arresting visuals, but audiences have been spoiled of late, with films like Avatar, A Christmas Carol and Up proving just how immersive 3D can be. Here it is little more than a gimmick. Occasionally a cup is thrown at us but there is nothing to draw us in, to make us feel like a part of the dreamscape. Wonderland? I'm afraid this Alice has gone for a Burton.

那么，我先说说我曾经感受到过的另一个单词，“理性”。安迪的胜利是理性的胜利，安迪的成功是理性的成功。无论面临怎样的局面，顺境也好，逆境也罢，他都不动声色，默默地审时度势，做他能做的努力，以达成自己的目标。

这是一种伟大的才华！

人类是感性的动物，时常受到情绪的支配，这是人之常情。面对残酷的环境，人本能的反应便是奋力抗争，而当这个环境恶劣到一定的程度时，人的抗争之心就会慢慢被消磨殆尽，成为行尸走肉。这两种情况，都是在许多文学影视作品中可以看到的。

人都有一时冲动的时候，那一刻会爆发出平常所没有的力量，叫做爆发力。对短跑运动员来说，爆发力很重要。然而那一刻爆发的力量是有限的，它会被一种叫做时间的东西消磨。这个力量来自于人的本能，像顽石一样不经琢磨。

而“毅力”却是琢磨而出的。时间不断的腐蚀它，而理性不断的加固它。这是一场艰苦卓绝的拉锯战。

安迪可以坚持每天挖掘石洞，挖了近二十年；可以每周写一封信，后来每周写两封信，直到州政府给了回应，资助他建立起图书馆；可以穿越长达五百米的恶臭肮脏的下水道，逃离肖申克。这样的毅力不只是可敬可佩，简直是可怖。

我没有毅力。我只会被时间消磨成一堆灰，一堆沙，而安迪却被琢磨成了钻石。他让我激动，是因为他身上的“理性”和“毅力”是我所没有的。

我推想安迪从哪一天开始生起了挖洞逃生的念头。也许是他刻下名字的那一刻，他发现石墙的质地松动，可能使他成功，于是他开始奋斗。但我想，这个念头一定在那之前就有，一定是这种想要摆脱困境的念头，与他百折不挠的精神，使他成为一个出色的银行家。而后，使他成为一个出色的逃犯。接着，在电影结束之后，他必将成为一个出色的开拓者。

The animated characters are adorable and even though they are very contemporary, and the movie takes place ring the depression, kids will be able to relate to the animated fantasy characters - since they are fantasy characters, there is no reason they can't be contemporary. Overall a nice story for kids, with some good lessons for kids re: love, loyalty, perseverance, intelligence.

my personal favorite "101D" medium is Disney's "101 Dalmatians: the Series". It combines many themes of the existing material (Dodie Smith book, 1961 and 1996 movies). But still does its own things, too.

Our main pups include brave Lucky, who gets a strong personality mirroring his character in the book, lovable Rolly, the gourmand of the pups, and sweet little Cadpig, who is the true runt of the litter. Also there is Spot the chicken, who longs to be a dog. I find them all extremely amiable and enjoyable to watch.

They are usually foiling Cruella's schemes for their land, or outwitting Lt. Pug (I'll get to him later), or sneaking into Grutely, or...just having fun, ma-ki-ng a very likable show.
